Privacy policy

Clear information for the PackLightBaby website and planning experience.

Privacy at PackLightBaby

PackLightBaby is designed to help families compare and plan what to bring, buy, rent or skip for a trip. This prototype stores trip facts and suitcase choices in your browser so that the experience stays connected between pages.

Information you choose to provide

Trip details may include destination, travel dates, number of children and age ranges. The prototype also stores your Bring / Buy / Rent / Skip decisions. These values are stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted by this standalone prototype.

Contact information

If you use the contact form in this prototype, the form demonstrates the intended interaction only and does not transmit the message to a server. Production WordPress integration will connect the form to an appropriate secure contact workflow.

Analytics

Analytics is optional. The prototype includes a consent choice, but no external analytics service is loaded by this local package. Production analytics should only run after the user has provided the required consent.

Referrals

In production, PackLightBaby may record a referral event when you choose to continue to a third-party provider. The provider is responsible for its own checkout, payment, fulfilment and privacy practices.

Your choices

You can change cookie preferences from the footer at any time. You can also clear this prototype's stored trip and suitcase data using your browser's site-data controls.

Production note: controller identity, postal address, privacy contact, retention periods, lawful bases and any production processors must be inserted and legally reviewed before public launch.
